A one person men’s barber shop. Just down the street from Fred’s, Ed’s has much more of a Portuguese-men’s-club feel. The magazines are sports and “mens interest,” that is, naked women. My husband did not like the hair cut he got there – which may have been because he felt like an outsider and was too intimidated to speak up -- but I think he did enjoy the old-time manly-man atmosphere. Worth at least one visit.
