ED's is THE BEST!!! The atmosphere is old school, the barbers uniform is old school, the shop is old school, and the hair cut and a shave with a straight edge razor.....AAAHHH HEAVEN!!!!!! more

Entering Ed's barber shop is like taking a step back in time. That is however, a big part of the experience when you get your hair cut @ Ed's. I love the heated saving cream, and the straight edge razor!!! I love when he shaves my neck at the end of my haircut!!!!! I LOVE ED's more

Great Barber shop! Have been going there for 10 years now and I have yet to leave there without a smile on my face! The atmosphere is OLD SCHOOL, and that is part of the enjoyment. Plus the old school straight edge razors used at Ed's give the BEST SHAVE EVER! I will go to ED's till the shop closes down! DC more

Old time barber shop 8/21/2005

A one person men’s barber shop. Just down the street from Fred’s, Ed’s has much more of a Portuguese-men’s-club feel. The magazines are sports and “mens interest,” that is, naked women. My husband did not like the hair cut he got there – which may have been because he felt like an outsider and was too intimidated to speak up -- but I think he did enjoy the old-time manly-man atmosphere. Worth at least one visit. more
