Longhorn Steakhouse is a good old American food place. The wait is standard for places like this; at least you can wait at the bar if you want. Service is good and the food is great. Salad eaters and vegetarians can even find a good meal here, so it's not just for steak lovers. The bread is good and the appetizers are too. The steaks and salmon are very good. Nothing is outstanding, like some of the local places offer; understand that Longhorn is a franchise, so it is going to be sort of "cookie cutter", in a way. The atmosphere is loud and family-friendly, so bring the kids.
