I like that one of the check-out guys also works at the stationary store across the street. This is a local shop through and through. The DVD selection is so-so, but I'm OK with that. It gives me a sense of mastery that I can browse the new release wall and realize I've seen most of what's out there. OK, not really, but support your local business. The popcorn is usually popping & it's tasty. The people who work there are friendly enough. Well, they smile occasionally anyway. I wouldn't mind if they remembered my name ("Last name, please.") The good news is that if you've accumulated $10 worth of late fees for Bridget Jones 1 and Bridget Jones 2 , they'll waive the fee when you buy more credits. They may judge you for your poor movie taste, but if you're marathoning Bridget Jones, you've got bigger problems.
