I've been going to videots for quite some time now. it's one of those rare places that seem to be a time machine. they recently realigned their shelves to add more DVDs, but you get the feeling that if they had their choice they'd still have beta-max...
that said, it's kinda refreshing to walk into a video store that doesn't try to be blockbuster. there are no movies blasting at full volume with surround sound... they still offer free popcorn at the front door... they don't have any membership cards, just a name is sufficient for ID.
In the end, they have a good selection of movies, especially classics, foreign, indie, and tv shows (i only rent DVDs now). I guess that's what matter the most.
So support your local independent video store, go to Videots.
