Castlewood State Park features more than 15.5 miles of trails for hiking, biking and equestrian use. It is a pretty good park for its hiking and biking trails as you get great views of the bluffs. Be careful as some of the trails can be rather dangerous. There are also poison ivy and other similar vegetation along some trails. The following are the major trails:
River Scene Trail - 3 mile loop
Grotpeter Trail - 3 mile loop
Lone Wolf Trail - 1.5 mile loop
Stinging Nettle Loop - 3 mile loop
Cedar Bluff Loop - 2 miles
Chubb Trail/Castlewood Loop - 7 miles one way/3 mile loop
