The Wine and Cheese Cask is just as it sounds - a great selection of wine and cheese. The beer selection is not great - they have fewer options than other places - they might have some of the really common types of beer, but in all, they probably only have 20 or so types of beer. The prices are reasonable in that they have a good range - everything from cheap red wine to expensive ports, but the prices are within the range that you would expect. The staff is helpful when you have questions about the various types of cheese and even help you pair the wine with it if you ask. The location is great - it is at an intersection right between Harvard, Inman, Central and Union Squares. This is really convenient, especially for people connected with Harvard. This is a "must visit" before your next party!
