I went on an everglades tour years ago and absolutely loved it. On ours, we sailed through the everglades until we got to this island where they have alligator wrestling, souvenirs and more. While going to and from the island, they make stops here and there to point out wildlife and to get you close encounters with gators, snakes, etc. You're almost guaranteed to see something wild on the airboat just because it is so common. If you've lived in S. Florida for years of if you're visiting, this is something you must do!
