Northern Illinois University is a pretty good university on a large sprawling campus. They are famous for their nursing program and the mini-hospital like building they have for the nurses to be to practice in. Downfalls to the university are that it may take you 20 minutes to walk to class and that it gets very cold there during the winters. Another downfall is that it is known as a "suitcase" school because most students go home on the weekends instead of staying and hanging out. This is because it is in a farm town and it is a close enough drive for most of the attending to just drive home on the weekends.
