American River College is a great campus for students coming out of high school, returning to school after some time off, or just looking to further their personal growth in education. The campus offers a huge variety of classes in numerous subjects, and class size is small enough to feel as though you're getting the personal attention you need to succeed. Classmates vary in age tremendously, so all age groups will feel at home in the setting. The theatre and interior design departments are especially noteworthy with very well respected and established professors. The only issue on this campus is parking, which can be difficult to find for mid morning classes, but does lighten as the semesters progress.
