Best Junior College in Sacramento 9/28/2005

There are teachers at American River College that are the best in the country. It's actually difficult to get hired on here, from my understanding, and American River is where a lot of instructions want to teach at. I've had lots of great teachers here, and there's a wide varitey of majors available. The campus is fairly small, but offers almost every class that you'd like to take! more

A good college 8/19/2005

This college is a good college if you are new to college. There isn't enough parking and they don't offer a lot of classes that they should. It's a great place to meet friends and they have some very cool professors. I would reccommend a college like this to those who need to get a general ed and maybe a bachelor's, but that's about it. Have fun. more

Great Local College 8/11/2005

Great for continuing you education at any age. The professors are top notch and will challenge you to do your best. The campus provides a safe and comfortable space for studying. The library is big and has an extensive collection of refrence books, they even carry some class books so you dont have to buy them. ARC provides great education whether you're looking to do a transfer to a csu/uc or earn your degree. more

Comfortable Campus 8/8/2005

American River College is a great campus for students coming out of high school, returning to school after some time off, or just looking to further their personal growth in education. The campus offers a huge variety of classes in numerous subjects, and class size is small enough to feel as though you're getting the personal attention you need to succeed. Classmates vary in age tremendously, so all age groups will feel at home in the setting. The theatre and interior design departments are especially noteworthy with very well respected and established professors. The only issue on this campus is parking, which can be difficult to find for mid morning classes, but does lighten as the semesters progress. more

Lovely Campus Best Music and Theatre Department 7/22/2005

This campus has that very home feeling when you attend its a perfect school for that student that is just coming out of High School that isn't sure what they are going to be doing for the rest of there lives. The instructors are very talented and master craftsmen and craftswomen in there teaching fields. The music department is wonderful with a wide selection of courses that is growing every year and also having many band opportunities. Also the theatre department has a wide selection of courses not just in acting but the performing side. more
