Spanky's is located across the street from the University and is a favorite lunch spot. Get there early during lunch time to avoid the crowds.
They have the BEST burgers and fried cheese I have ever eaten. Everything is reasonably priced and nothing is cooked until it is ordered.
The shop is small. They have additional seating upstairs, including an outside patio which is nice when it isn't too windy.
This place is definitely a place you must visit. Try the fried cheese--huge pieces of mozzarella cheese, fried and served with marinara sauce and ranch dressing. I've never had anything like it elsewhere.
