The dryer vent exits thru the crawl space cover. Access to the crawl space is not easy and the dryer vent pipe is one of the obstacles to enter and exit the crawl space. in the course the of the job the vent pipe got bent and the elbow got dislodged and thrown on the lawn. My wife saw the elbow with lint inside and threw the part away. I didn't know this until the handyman showed me the situation. He also thought that he pipe was dislodged further inside the crawl space. The interface between the vent pipe and the crawl space cover is not as tight as it was before the job was started
