First this is no longer called the ""Lamp Post Inn"" but the ""University inn."" Desk check In was courteous and helpful. Room is a little small yet, clean with many amenities including microwave, fridge. Bathroom was small yet clean, in good repair, and doable. Owner allowed to park car on grounds due to an afternoon game on Saturday. as my checkout was Saturday at 11am. The U of M stadium is about 2.5 miles away. Can walk to the stadium yet there are several ""modes"" of transportation available. The owner was a great help. She gave us free bottles of water as their soda pop machine was out of soda pop. Highly recommend this motel when traveling in the Ann Arbor area and need a place to stay for a night.
