Called for the yearly checkup on my AC . AC is10 years old, and in good condition. I have a warranty with another company good until December.
They wanted me to sign with them Now. Meaning I would have 2 warranties for 6 months. They also recommend $2,000 of work - I could buy anew one for $3,000. Cleaned AC in 10mins and spent over 1 hour trying to sell me everything they could think of.

After reviewing your job paper work it appears that another company did in fact replace a condenser fan motor with whip for power feed. As our second tech investigated your issue it was discovered this was the source of exposed wires was from another company that made repairs after our initial visit.
