If I could, I would give McKay's Heating & Cooling 6 stars out of 5! I had them come out to double check the furnace in my house. The furnace was installed by a different company and I had nothing but problems with them over and over and over again. So I thought I'd give someone else a try, and I had seen McKay's advertising up around Augusta, and I have to say I'm really glad I went with them!
At the time when they came out to do the work I was working 12 hour days and needed to have my father (who lives 45 minutes away) come out to my place to be there for them. Unfortunately there was a bit up a hiccup around timing and I was really worried my father would be inconvenienced. I called to try and work it out and I'm not sure who answered the phone there but they just flipped some schedules around and had someone out at the house in about 40 minutes! I was thoroughly impressed.
The price for value was well worth it. They signed me up for "gold program" and it was awesome. I went ahead and got rid of it eventually, but I have to say that being able to just make a phone call and have my issue sent to the top of their priority list is really worth it.
At one point they had to come back to install a safety switch for the furnace. It took about a week but true to their word I got a text Monday morning from a technician saying "I'm headed your way!" and they had the switch installed in a jif.
I really think there is nothing they need to improve. They took care of what they needed to take care of. My father who oversaw the work is a grumpy ex-military guy, and even HE said they really know their stuff. Whatever you are doing, McKay, keep it up because you are doing a good job!
