Walt?s Window Repair and Screening in Boca Raton obviously has been in business too long. They must feel that they have a monopoly on the business in the area for them to be so disorganized and careless in how they deal with their customers. People who care about their business and their customers don?t act this way.\r We called Walt?s for an appointment on a Friday. They explained that they were backed up with appointments and wouldn?t be able to fit us into their schedule until the following Wed (Monday was a holiday) and that they would call us as soon as the schedule was created. No phone call on Tuesday. Wednesday finally came and??no phone call. We called their office in the morning and ?Walt Jr.? (who seems to be a chip off the old block) communicates that our information was left on ?Walt?s desk? and that he was sorry?..but that he would follow up and get back to us and would get us ?into the schedule as soon as possible?. He admitted that the ball was dropped and we understand that mistakes happen. He made it sound that we would receive a call back?.NOPE . We called again on Wednesday afternoon?.and received the answering machine. We left a message. No call back. We called a third time and received the machine again. Well?.Thursday morning rolls around and we call their office at 8:30 in the morning. We reach ?Walt Jr? who communicates that we are not ?in the schedule? and that ?we?ve been busy? and ?there is no truck in the area?. Our house is 5 minutes from their office. We reminded Walt Jr. That we?ve been attempting to deal with this for almost a week. He said he would speak to ?Walt Sr.? and ?get back to us?. By 10:00?.nothing. No phone call?Nothing. I figured I would give it one last shot and called their office. Again?. Same nonchalant attitude. At this point ?.I was done . \r These people don?t understand that you cannot treat customers this way without the word getting around fast. They are Old school?.. and when I say Old school, I don?t mean in a good way. They don?t understand that customers will not tolerate being treated in this manner. Within 5 minutes of my last phone call, I was able to track down and communicate with someone who does this exact work and have an appointment for this evening. Walt?s isn?t the only game in town !!! Don?t waste your time !!!!! I can only imagine how they would have dealt with me once they were in my home if this is how they dealt on the phone. more
