Sorry for the delay in responding to my survey. I brought my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am Gt to the shop when the transmission went out at a 200,000 miles and needed to be rebuilt/replaced. It went fine and cost substantially less than was quoted at the dealer where I generally care for my car. A couple of months later it threw a seal which your shop without issue replaced under warranty. Then still later in for service at my dealer, they found I was leaking transmission fluid again from the cooler lines (original so they were aged) and possibly that seal again. The Transmission Shop replaced the cooler lines charging me for them reasonably and again did that seal a second time just to be on the safe side. I pay close attention to how the car sounds, vvibrates and smells as I'm driving and after use. It really hasn't given me any issues and since the cooler lines and the warranty work I haven't smelled anything like burning fluid and the transmission has been running/shifting smoothly. I also do a lot of highway driving to go to/from work and it hasn't been an issue. I feel treated really good by the folks at the shop, not like they want to just make a buck. Also being located so close to a GM dealer where I can rent a car is a definet plus. They're also substantially less costly then the quotes from my dealership. more
