This is by far the worst company I have had to deal with for many reasons. We asked them to come out to assess the damage on our air conditioning unit. We had specifically told the worker that our dogs had chewed through a fuse and that was most likely the problem needing to be fixed. Instead he spent three hours looking for other problems, telling us that there was something else wrong with it. He brought out a second employee to help him look for a problem and finally told us that our inducer circuit board was broken and it would need to be fixed for $507.37. We did not have enough money at the time and needed to save up and told him we would call when we were ready to have it replaced. We went for THREE weeks in the hottest time of August with no air conditioning and it was painfully hot. We called someone out from a different company to have the air conditioning unit cleaned and were telling him why we had no air conditiong. He took five minutes to look and told us it was a broken fuse. He replaced it for free and within minutes we had air conditioning! He then told us that we don't even have an inducer circuit board like the previous A-1 American employee had stated and it is in fact a furnace drill board. This employee from a separate company told us that we were not the first customers he met that had received terrible service from A-1 American. I was upset that we paid $78 for an incorrect service charge and went three weeks of suffering without air conditioning because of misinformation from a professional. I am not sure if he had the intention to make an incorrect diagnosis that would charge us $507.37 for his own personal benefits or if A-1 American does not hire professionals that are capable of doing their job correctly.\r \r I wanted to speak with the manager of A-1 American about the poor service we had received from his company, and continued to call for 2 weeks without a response. I could only reach the front desk who continued to tell me day after day that he was not available and ""should get around to returning my call soon"". I was respectful to the front desk attendent everyday, and one day grew impatient with the lack of customer service and asked if I needed to show up personally and wait for the manager to get the chance to speak with him. She began to back talk to me in an extremely improfessional manner and eventually hung up on me. I was appalled and still have not received and phone call and do not think that I ever will until I take the matter into my own hands and do something about their lack of service.\r \r Terrible, terrible company. Terrible services all around. I would never recommend using this company. more
