I had a new heat pump installed by midlands air 3 years ago..they said parts are covered under warranty for 5 years and if something happened I would pay labor cost only..the motor died after 3 years and they need to replace it..tech said would take less than hour to install...he said labor cost is 409.00...not kidding..I spoke with the gym and he said labor includes receptionist doing paperwork..driver brining motor..processing..and installation....409.00..I asked if they could ship me the part since it's under warranty and he said no, they had to install it..what a rip off..never using midlands air again....
