Disgusted with this company!\r
Our refrigerator has been down for several weeks now. A young tech came to our home to ""fix' it but he actually scratched his head and said that he didn't know how to fix one of these. He made some minor repairs (unclogging the ice build up) and left. The fridge took about a week to cool and then it began to warm up again. I called Sears and they recommended Boston Joe's again. I was doubtful that someone there would be able to fix it but Sears told me that I could request a senior technician. When I called Boston Joe's to determine the date and time of the appointment, the abrupt man (he wouldn't tell me his name) told me that the techs work in territories and that I could not have anyone else. If I didn't want the young man to come, then I had to call Sears back and get one of their techs. I told him that the previous tech was not able to fix our fridge and we wanted someone else and the abrupt man called me rude for saying that! I don't know how that comment was rude - it was true! He told me that he didn't want to help me and to call Sears. He then told me that our problem is frost and that it's due to the humidity. That once the humidity goes down in October, my frost problem would go away. I explained that while we do have problem with frost, our fridge is 51 degrees and it's not cooling. He said that I had a different problem. I said that we have same problem that we had a few ago! He told me to call Sears. He then said, ""We will see you on the appointment date..."" I said, ""Sure, if the technician is able to fix the fridge,"" He shouted, ""Call Sears ""! and hung up on me.\r

He was incredibly rude, abrupt and nasty. I do not recommend this company at all! If you have a warranty and are able to go through a different company, PLEASE DO IT! Stay far away from these people! I would rather wait a month for a REAL repair company than to have anyone from Boston Joe's come to my home.
