Noel of Imperial pools quoted me a price of $285, or course w/o chemicals included and if any other problems were noted.
He came out to check the pump and charged me which I assumed was included with closing. Part of the pump was having an issue and I agreed to replace that - he quoted me "approx. $85" plus labor. The actual price of this piece was a fair amout over $100 plus numerous more labor charges. Also the things he listed in his invoice after the fact - like replacing the ladders for the pool into their spots etc. was NOT done. The ladders were sitting on the deck ! The invoice also had $365+ listed just for the closing which was quite a bit more than he quoted me. I called him and he seemed not too interested in the facts and our total bill was over $700 !! Close to $300 for the origianal estimate then all the way up to $700 instead seems very misleading to me. I feel that he mislead me and way overcharged me and really did not seem to care in the least. We have been customers for years but I really don't feel like we will be in the future.
I understand the part replaced and that labor but many charges were "listed" with out much explanation. Even $500 would have been semi-resonalbe but I feel totally taken advantage of by this man. Very very disappointed.
