Golden State Garage Door replaced two springs in my overhead door because it wasn't working properly. The arrived on time and they were prompt in their work. However, they didn't give me an estimate up front and when it came time to pay, I felt that I was overcharged. RESPONSE FROM Golden State Garage Doors: We value your review and opinion. We did come out on an emergency service call on Saturday since your car was stuck in the garage. If we had come out on a regular business day (Monday-Friday), the charge would have been a little less. However, the company charges more for a service call after hours or on weekends to compensate for the overtime pay. We warranty the springs we installed for a period of three years from the date we installed them. If you wish to discuss this issue further, you may call the office at #619-448-0506. Thank You. more
