While I was pleased with the dealership's ability to overcome all the issues with finding a vehicle that was truly in brand new condition when I purchased my Elantra in May 2013 and the accommodations made when the mistake of agreeing to install mud guards was actually something that could not be placed on my car...I was thoroughly disappointed in making the 90+ mile trip for the 9 month service check up. The service department did not seem very in tune with what their customer needs were nor very concerned with the wait. I guess if you don't provide a time for a basic oil change and tire rotation you can't be blamed when it takes triple the amount of time you'd expect. What frustrated me the most was the lack of follow up / explanation from the service provider for the work that was performed but more importantly the work I asked about on potential manufacturer defects (i.e. paint cracking in door as if something was protruding from the inside out, leather stitching unraveling in driver's seat). Had i not been told upon purchase that my car would be cleaned with every service I would not have expected it. However, it was disappointing to find it appeared dirtier than it was when I came in. Do not recommend utilizing the service department as it is currently being operated. more
