I just brought my 2009 VW Gti in for 60k service. All items were explained to me, and I was given a quote before any work began. Also, there was an annoying sound coming from what I thought was exhaust, and I asked them to look into it.
Turns out it was the rear wheel bearing, and this was properly diagnosed, and fixed. Took a little longer than expected, but not out of the norm. The bolt was seized that held it on-how do I know all of this? Because they took the time out of their day to explain EVERYTHING to me, and also offered me the old parts so I could see in my hands what the problem was. I am impressed with their honesty, their kindness, and their professionalism.
The shop may not look like much from the outside, but inside it's staffed with consummate professionals who know their stuff. So much so, that they're at ease explaining it all to a layperson like myself who is interested in this stuff. I am happy with this shop, have referred my wife there, and will refer others as well.
RESPONSE FROM Precision Import Service:
Thanks Chris for the great review, we try very hard to explain all that we can about repairs done on anyone that brings their car to us. Car repair is very expensive these days and people need to understand what it is that they are paying for.
Thanks again for the great review!
