My 2012 Sonata Hybrid had been to the dealership where I purchased it twice within the first year and since there were no "codes" they didn't do anything to fix the car. I bought another Hyundai from Annapolis Hyundai and decided to try out their service department. There were still no codes but they called the Hyundai engineers and discovered a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that matched the issues the car was having. I was very impressed that Annapolis Hyundai took the extra steps to discover and fix my car's issues.
