The women at Dogs In Suds are incredibly competent and caring. With Dante being a German rottweiler, he is extremely protective of his paws. After being charged $80-$150 to get his nails clipped [and be dangerously over-sedated] at the Chesterland vet, we began to look for safe and affordable alternatives. Though small, the system at Dogs In Suds surprised me with its quality and practicality. At first glance, perhaps to those coming from the city, this business may seem laid back or even second-rate. Though we have never believed dogs need grooming, we do know they need personal attention from people who deeply care about their well-being. This is what we found at Dogs In Suds. For $10, they ground down his nails safely and with minimal discomfort. At four years old, this was a first for Dante. We've been taking him there ever since. It's important to note: when seeing the other dogs in their care, it became apparent that Dante [at 115 pounds] is only a mid-size dog to them. The 250-pound mastiff I just met is one of their favorite clients. What's more, these women are clearly proud to serve all the dogs in their care. They definitely deserve your business.
