I went to see Dr. DeFranco for a work related injury. I was hesitant because my workers compensation company insisted that I go see a chiropractor. I dislike being told what to do, however I had seen the company witch doctor who sent me back to work so I could screw up my back worse. I was living on pain pills when finally I convince my employer to call the insurance company so I could see a chiropractor. After telling him my history of this low back problem he asked me did I want to get better cause he said he did not have any time to waste on anyone who did not want to get better and back to work. I said heck yea I want to get better cause I didn't want to spend my life being a drug addict popping loratabs all day long. This guys knows what he is doing cause he reviewed my MRI's and CT scans, my fifty visits to the physical therapist and said we are going to try a different approach. Well his different approached worked! In six visits I was 70% out of back pain and sleeping all night for the first time in 6 months. By the end of the month I didn't need lortabs and was pain free. He released me back to work full duty. My story is this, if you have a great boss like I have, don't be scared to go see him.
