Went to Dr. DeFranco with bad low back pain. I had not slept a full night in weeks after just bending to clean out a closet. Him and his staff got me in his office and found my problem. Within a few short visits he had me out of pain and feeling better than I have felt in 10 years. I highly recommend!\r more

I messed my back up lifting heavy boxes out of my basement that I had no business trying to lift. Three days of pain and nothing helped, so my preacher told me to call Dr. DeFranco's office. He got me out of pain fast and back to normal much faster than my neighbor who had back surgery. One of the best doctors I have ever had to go too. Very nice and gentle doctor. more

Fantastic doctor. I was in a auto accident where I hurt my neck and low back. Went to doctor after doctor and no one could find why I was hurting. All I got was pills and nothing seem to help. I kept getting worse until a friend recommended I give Dr. DeFranco a try. He got me out of pain and within a month I was back to doing the things I enjoy in life. I highly recommend him. more

What a fantastic Chiropractor! Super sweet and gentle staff! Went to Six Flags and hit a bump on a coaster I have not hit in 25 years, and my neck just locked up and I was in bad, bad, bad pain. In fact, I could not drive home. Called Dr. DeFranco's office and he got me right in. He examined and xrayed my neck, and found the problem fast! He used some therapy that caused my muscles to turn to butter and before I knew it my neck pain was gone and I could see to back out of the parking lot! On a scale of 1 to 10, I give him and his staff a 100! I highly recommend! more

Great chiropractic office and Dr. DeFranco is wonderful. I have had low back problems for years so bad my doctor recommended I get back surgery. Dr. DeFranco examined my back and fixed up quick and got me out of pain and enjoying running 5 miles a day again! Super staff and great location! I highly recommend! more

Oh, Dr. DeFranco at Hueytown Chiropractic Clinic is just wonderful! Last time I feel down some steeps at my home and hurt myself so bad I almost ended up in the hospital. My dentist recommend him years ago for a TMJ problem, so when it came to spinal joints I knew just who to call. His strong magic hands fixed my back up in no time! I highly recommend him to anyone with a back problem or TMJ issues. more

Saved My Back From Surgery – Dr. DeFranco completely healed my back from a year old injury that had prevented me from dancing, practicing yoga, sitting for long periods of time and chronic pain- he and his staff are kind, professional and most importantly highly skilled at what they do. All the drugs and therapy I received before seeing Dr. DeFranco was a waste of time and money- he is fabulous! more

I injured my back moving heavy boxes. Nothing helped. Dr. DeFranco looked at my back and told me I had the spine of a 80 year old. Well I am almost 85. Said all my disc were worn out and full of arthritis. Said our goal was to restore some normal movement and if I wasn't better in a month he would send me to a good back surgeon. Direct and to the point kind of a doctor. I asked him if it would hurt, and he said if he hurt me, I could hurt him back. Well, after a month I was significantly out of pain and back to cleaning out the basement. One of the most down to earth doctors I have ever been to in my life. I highly recommend him to anyone with back problems. \r more

I had headaches that began after the birth of my last child. After two years of doctor shopping my medical doctor suggested I call his office. I found Dr. DeFranco to be friendly and knowledgeable. He examined my head and neck and reviewed my last MRI and CT scans. He said I had cervicogenic headaches. He said give him two weeks and if I was not 50% better he would stop care. Let me tell you, within two weeks my headaches had gone from daily to once a week and in four weeks they were gone. I have not had a headache in three years. I highly recommend him to my friends and family. more

When I first went to Dr. DeFranco's office at Hueytown Chiropractic Clinic I had been using a walker for four months. The medical offices and doctors I had visited said I was to old and degenerative for back surgery. Spinal blocks and physical therapy did little to help me. Well Dr. DeFranco examined my back, showed me my xrays and allowed me to see just how bad my back really was. The difference was he did more than just say take these pills! He said we are going to get your spine moving, improve the spine alignment and strengthen my weak muscles. In less than a month I was off the walker and 85% out of pain. He has given my life back. more

My husband and I just love Dr. DeFranco! He saved him from having to have low back surgery several years ago and fixed my injured neck when I was in a bad auto accident. He has kept us going for a number of years now and we would not consider going to anyone else! Wait times are always less than 5 minutes and his staff is sweet and helpful. more

For starters, he has a great staff at the front desk who are very professional and friendly. Very easy to make an appointment and checking out is a breeze. Dr. DeFranco is very good at what he does. He is very courteous and takes the time to ask about any past problems you have experienced. I love there's minimal waiting time to see Dr. DeFranco and you never feel rushed. more

This doc know's bad backs! I like that I can get and out of his office before the boss knows I am gone! It's a busy office, but absolutely never a wait time. I went to see Dr. DeFranco at Hueytown Chiropractic Clinic after falling down my basement stairs. I was in so much sharp pain that I thought I had broke my low back. They took me right in without waiting. Dr. DeFranco asked me several questions, examined my back and cleaned up my scratches, took some xrays and even ordered a MRI. I was lucky I had not fractured anything but badly damaged some ligaments and spinal joints. He worked out a rehab program to get me out of pain and back working in the yard in no time. He has a sweet and professional staff and a nice office. What a great experience and would recommend anyone with a low back problem to see him. more

I knew I had found the right doctor for my low back and leg tingling after spending just 5 minutes talking with Dr. DeFranco. He spent plenty of time asking me all kinds of questions about when my problem, what I was doing at the time I got injured and what other doctors I have visited. You certainly can tell he has a lot of experience dealing with low back problems. The bottom line is that pills, back injections and exercise just was not helping. I had been to two other doctors and he was the first one to touch my back. He pushed my back forward and backward until he foud the joint that was causing all the problems. Four months of leg pain was gone after one visit and my low back was better by the end of the month. I told him about my wife's frozen shoulder problem, so she set up an appointment and he got her shoulder out of pain and able to move pain free in a matter of weeks. I hope neither one of us ever has another problem but if I do he is the man with the plan. more
