We were visiting Maui for our daughter's wedding and were very pleased with the checkout process and model/cleanliness of our rental car from Enterprise. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle on a zip line platform, and we had to cut our vacation short to return home for surgery. Checking the car in earlier than the date specified was no problem whatsoever. I was charged only for the time that we had the car, and at the discount rate we had originally obtained. I was pleasantly surprised, as other car rental companies have taken the opportunity to apply extra charges when I've had to return a car earlier than the time specified in the contract. The really big nice surprise was when I told the agent that I'd need to call a cab to get to the airport departure area, since I couldn't climb the steps in the courtesy van and handle luggage with my broken ankle. He said ""just hop back into the passenger seat, and I'll run you over there!"" Friendly service like this distinguishes Enterprise from all the rest. We've rented twice more from Enterprise since then, both excellent experiences, and will stick with them!
