Enterprise Rent-A-Car

After checking rates 5 times, getting a different rate every time, found a rate I liked for about $225 a week, from the Maui airport. They said rate change constantly. Same car, same times, was priced at over $500 at an Enterprise location 1 mile away. ????? Cars usually cost more from airports. ?????\r \r Gas tank was supposed to be FULL. Only 4 miles from airport, gas gauge moved below full.... 1 day later, we discovered something from under the engine was dragging on the road. Called rental location, went back to airport, exchanged car. Agent was helpful and pleasant. New car was better.\r Had to return car 1 day early. I received credit for time not used. \r \r I have rented from Enterprise for more than 5 years. I have never been able to get any award credits. Each person I asked said some other department handled it. Finally I got signed up correctly and hope to get credits from now on. more

If I was Enterprise I would NOT ask for a review. Their service is crappy they can learn about customer service from AVIS. I hate when they kept asking how was service? How about learn to serve customer first rather than focusing on getting high ratings. I would never rent from Enterprise EVER customer service is simply rude and they don't hear/listen when you talk to them again because they are just focused on getting high ratings. I had to tell them three times to add CDW. Even with the addition the rep went around the car spending good amount of time measuring all the dents. more

We were visiting Maui for our daughter's wedding and were very pleased with the checkout process and model/cleanliness of our rental car from Enterprise. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle on a zip line platform, and we had to cut our vacation short to return home for surgery. Checking the car in earlier than the date specified was no problem whatsoever. I was charged only for the time that we had the car, and at the discount rate we had originally obtained. I was pleasantly surprised, as other car rental companies have taken the opportunity to apply extra charges when I've had to return a car earlier than the time specified in the contract. The really big nice surprise was when I told the agent that I'd need to call a cab to get to the airport departure area, since I couldn't climb the steps in the courtesy van and handle luggage with my broken ankle. He said ""just hop back into the passenger seat, and I'll run you over there!"" Friendly service like this distinguishes Enterprise from all the rest. We've rented twice more from Enterprise since then, both excellent experiences, and will stick with them! more

We paid for a Chrysler 200 or equal but got a cheap compact car instead. This made driving around the island for a week quite uncomfortable and impossible to put 4 adults in the car comfortably. This was an expensive vacation that was adversely affected by the quality of the car. After many, many years of using Enterprise, I won't be renting from them again. more
