A technician who was working on my mother-in-law's house was very kind to get on the phone and talk through some possible scenarios regarding our plumbing problems. He mentioned that since my mother-in-law had signed up for a family plan that covered two properties and that we would get the same good service and a nice discount to boot. We were ecstatic and called the next day to set it up.\r

Unfortunately, the customer service representative who answered the phone to set up the appointment flatly denied everything our technician had said and basically hung him out to dry. She told my wife on the phone that we could not use the family plan and set up the appointment anyway. My wife felt a little bowled over after the call so I called back to see what was going on.
