Re; Laurie H.\r In response to your review, let's address what you have mentioned near the end of it. When you brought your Jeep in for transmission work you were told you should have brought it in a little earlier for a check up, but because you didn't your warranty was null and void. \r You were notified by mail thru our service department here at Tyson Motor, that your vehicle was due for a powertrain inspection. You were then notified by mail FOUR times thru Chrysler Corporation that your vehicle was due for its powertrain inspection.\r You then had a phone conversation with our service director, Joe Prno, who apologized to you for the issue of the 4x4 shifter not being secure. Mr. Prno then spoke with you concerning all FIVE notices that were sent to you in regards to your required powertrain inspection. The answer you gave Mr. Prno was ""Do you know how much junk mail I get?"" and that you ""Most likely threw it away!""\r Mr. Prno went ahead and consulted with Chrysler, and he then provided the repairs needed to your transmission for less than 1/4 of the entire cost. Mr. Prno also provided you with 2 days rental car coverage at no cost to you.\r For your extended warranty to be in effect, you must follow the guidelines that are stipulated in the contract, meaning you must follow the recommended maintenance schedule for your vehicle. It was your choice not to respond to all FIVE notices that were sent to you.\r We wish you all the best with your future vehicle concerns. more
