Following is my review of my experience with Katalin Eckstein and Diane Van Ness. I brought my very ill child in good faith to these two for help. He had an early onset of hallucinations, paranoia, and a severe thought disorder that resulted in unfortunately incontrollable behaviors and bizarre stories even about all the innocent people in his life. This inexperienced duo believed everything he was saying and filed false child abuse charges with detrimental familial results. Since that time, his father, paternal grandparents, principals, counselors, pediatricians, police, doctors, teachers, sheriffs, hospitals, and multitudes of others OVER A DECADE, virtually EVERYONE WHO KNEW HIM, has Baker-acted him or had him Baker-acted, arrested and/or hospitalized him. ARE THEY ALL MENTALLY ILL CHILD ABUSERS, TOO, DIANE AND KATALIN? No, Diane and Katalin, we have ALL had only one thing in mind... how to help and keep safe my beautiful son, and keep others safe from him, and him from himself. He deserved treatment! Not enabling of his illness and bizarre stories, or unethical punishment of his family over stories that never happened. ""Punishment"" included his healthy brother and healthy mother being kept apart for four years, while the case never ONCE went before a judge as an evidentiary hearing. Never once. Eventually, Diane Van Ness was thrown off this case for ethical reasons and Katalin Eckstein quit the case with one day's notice for falsified reasons. All documents are available in a court of law by multiple professionals if needed. And my beautiful son? The boy that WE ALL were only trying to help? Detrimental. This duo will never know the agony of loving and raising and trying to help a severely mentally ill child. They have never apologized, and still likely are stuck with their initial ignorant conclusions, not based on reality and without any contact with any persons or doctors who truly knew this boy. Not recommended.\r
