Diane M. Van Ness allowed no constitutionally protected trial, filed everything as non-evidentiary, and if Katalin Eckstein, PhD does not know what that means, no evidence was allowed in court except which she wrote based on a narcissist father with sociopathic tendencies. This is why 75 percent of domestic violence abusers/child abusers end up with custody, as they smile calmly and charm their way via using the system against the woman who sends them to jail and divorces him. This common knowledge apparently escapes Diane Van Ness and her partner Katalin Eckstein, who claims to be versed in psychology. One child was writing me letters of longing and begging to come home, while the other child became epileptic, addicted, and had an early onset thought disorder, which neither Diane nor Katalin reported to the court. I couldn't report it because she filed everything as non-evidentiary. While my son called me his "healing soul," his father placed him in choke holds and beat him. While I got him help. This happened in front of hos brother, which by law is considered double child abuse. Diane's judge "friend" never heard any of this in these non-evidentiary hearings. Diane and Katalin broke all guardian ad litem laws, and i did my research with the attorney who wrote the guardian ad item statutes. She did this in all her cases, not just in my family's. My son is deceased now from the pressure of being told what to say about child abuse that never happened by the mother. My heart is forever broken by their dishonesty. Lack of knowledge about how abusive men use the court system. Fortunately Diane became a mere traffic ticket collector and had to leave Miami all-together due to her reputation, not just by the few families she destroyed but by her colleagues who called her "sick." Diane made me pay her in the thousands to get off her case. Illegal. My children we so happy to be back home. This is my review and I am not the only family or professional who knows those to be true. Her cases have no due process. Stay away. more

Horrible. Van Ness "creates" and reports under oath false cases. Cases which had no criminal or civil charges. No findings. No witnesses. No trials. No injuries. No emercency room records. No notice to appear in court. No defense. No contact with those with first-hand info. No due process. Yet, she does file Agreed Orders that were never agreed upon. Reprots wherein her witnesses had no name. Non-evidentiary only (allows no witnesses, dr reports, etc). False claims of not being paid. In one judge's courtroom only. With young, naive psychologists straight out of school to "back" what she reports with no first-hand knowledge. This nightmare also included Van Ness blackmailing two fine families I worked with for years. It was impossible to report her. Thankfully, she hasn't practiced since her business attorney days when something happened to her career, so she reinvented herself as a mere guardian ad litem. In a handful of cases only. She only mediates, if ever. She has no office. Although she lists a luxury office downtown. It doesn't exist. Look it up on the FL Bar website.
