My budding acting career is vital to me, and as such I've done a lot of research and read a lot of books on the agenting business ('Acting for the Camera' by Tony Barr, 'The Los Angeles Agent Book' by K. Callan, 'The Real, Low Down, Dirty Truth about Hollywood Agenting' by Rima Greer, 'An Agent Tells All' by Tony Martinez). When I moved back from L.A. a couple years ago, I began looking for agents here in Salt Lake. Before Craze, I met and auditioned with several of the other agencies around the valley (whom I won't name), but none of them seemed to really measure up to my expectations of an agency or a business in the industry. The thing that irked me the most was the ""school"" attached to each of these agencies, and the acting coaches they boasted raised red flags with me. As long as the agencies charge tuition, they don't worry about doing agenting work.\r

Then there's Craze. Craze is everything an agency should be. Craze really understand the business and how to work in it. They get resumes and headshots right (and don't airbrush like other studios) and provide good training on how to audition without charging for classes. Since I began working with Craze I've booked principal work in a couple commercials and few small films. I really have fun auditioning for anything else that fits my ""type"" and am looking forward to loving the work for years to come.
