Best

Very busy agency. You will need a headshot for them to help you. I have worked with two other agency's and Craze is much better.

Just wanted a honest reply here. I used to work for this agency and oversaw two of my co-workers writing false reviews to cover up the negative side of this agency. You will be selected most likely at a mall, and told you have so much talent and you can be in movies/model gigs. You will be told then to attend a audition at their building and 99% told you are perfect and you need to sign up today because space is limited (not true). Sorry, but most of these people coming in do not have talent, and will need classes. Get ready for signing a 1k-5k+ contract and spend 1k in classes to get this so called talent you were told you had in the first place. They will make you feel so good about yourself and make your parents (if you bring them in) guilty if they don't help you sign up.\r When I worked there, we were told to make people feel so good about themselves to get them to sign up and try to get people with their parents (especially dads and their daughters). \r We made money for everyone we recruited, you could imagine the crap we had to make up to get them to come in.\r Also, most don't read the contract. Good luck backing out. That 5k grand you spent on this? Say good bye to it.\r You will then go to do a photoshoot (this is really fun, I will admit). You feel gorgeous, and on your way to fame.\r \r Then, you may choose to take classes (being told this increases your chances of getting selected for a role (also not true).\r \r You will then get booted aside, maybe get a email a week for being a (extra)... not anything fancy, in fact over time you will feel pretty worthless since that big dream of becoming famous starts diminishing. Where did you go wrong? You didn't, you just got suckered into something that was TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. \r It rarely happens you get a good gig, but you will most likely never get a huge role in a movie, even local ones.\r \r They are making their money getting you to sign this huge contract, JUST to get extra work. \r \r When in fact you can actually get extra work for free. You dont even need a contract.\r \r \r http://www.utahextras.com/ (they just started charging a small fee to look for casting calls however no where near a contract cost) \r Craigslist\r KSL ads\r http://www.studentfilms.com/\r \r and many others you can look at\r \r For anything bigger, you are looking at a 1-1000000 chance of getting something huge.\r You might get lucky if you KNOW someone to get in a local film.\r \r \r Just wanted to throw that out there, because a lot of you may not be able to afford this but are promised to make money and get huge roles. Only a select few get anything (if much) from any talent agency. \r \r You are better off hiring someone that is a private agent to get you any big roles.\r \r This company hides its tracks well, because I admit I did it and also saw others doing it.\r \r If you do still choose to sign up, don't go in head first, be careful and know what your getting into.\r \r It was still fun as I was also a talent member. But after working there and seeing how many uphappy people we had to deal with and how badly we treated them, I would stay away. more

I'm so happy I signed with Craze. I've been pleased with their knowledge of the industry and their willingness to work hard for the talent they represent. I highly recommend Craze Agency. I've booked numerous castings and paying shoots since signing with them a few years ago. Their commission rate is very reasonable and Craze doesn't require expensive training or classes. more

My daughter Thaliyah is represented by this agency. We have had a lot of work for her by Craze. She has always been paid for her jobs. We have never had to pay up front for the agency or for anything else. They offer to take your picture for your portfolio which does cost money but you can decline if you have your own photo that you would like to use. So we have never had to pay the agency anything except for their small percentage that they receive for any completed jobs that they have given. They are a great agency!! more

My budding acting career is vital to me, and as such I've done a lot of research and read a lot of books on the agenting business ('Acting for the Camera' by Tony Barr, 'The Los Angeles Agent Book' by K. Callan, 'The Real, Low Down, Dirty Truth about Hollywood Agenting' by Rima Greer, 'An Agent Tells All' by Tony Martinez). When I moved back from L.A. a couple years ago, I began looking for agents here in Salt Lake. Before Craze, I met and auditioned with several of the other agencies around the valley (whom I won't name), but none of them seemed to really measure up to my expectations of an agency or a business in the industry. The thing that irked me the most was the ""school"" attached to each of these agencies, and the acting coaches they boasted raised red flags with me. As long as the agencies charge tuition, they don't worry about doing agenting work.\r \r Then there's Craze. Craze is everything an agency should be. Craze really understand the business and how to work in it. They get resumes and headshots right (and don't airbrush like other studios) and provide good training on how to audition without charging for classes. Since I began working with Craze I've booked principal work in a couple commercials and few small films. I really have fun auditioning for anything else that fits my ""type"" and am looking forward to loving the work for years to come. more

My daughter Isabella signed with Craze when she was 4. She has booked 3 national commercials (Kaplan University, Foundation for a Better Life and Wal-Mart) and has done numerous modeling, Belgard Hardscapes, Pottery Barn Kids, etc. This is a great agency to be with, very professional, and opportunities come daily. Not all jobs available are right for my daughter, but I love that Craze makes that our choice. They are a no pressure agency, we chose not to use their in house photographer for head shots, but simply have our own printed when we need them. Craze works hard negotiating on our behalf, and we have only paid commissions from jobs booked through Craze. I would recommend them to anyone looking to start in this industry. more

My son has done two high-profile modeling photoshoots since being represented by Craze and we are happy with their level of professionalism. We have not paid anything other than for the initial headshots and commissions from jobs. We would recommend this agency to anyone in the SLC area looking for modeling work. more

They send me audition and casting notices almost daily. 2/20/2007
