This company, which may be just one man and a truck, is the most unprofessional, rude and lazy I have encountered in my 18 years working in the field of construction. Given the number of one star reviews that I encountered after dealing with the owner, I was shocked to see he had an A rating on your site. The owner, James (who will not give you is last name??), came for a service call on my hot water heater. He missed the two hour window allotted, which happens. However, seemed not the least bit concerned or apologetic. He would not properly inspect the issue we were having. He left after three minutes and proved to be insulting and misogynistic in that short time. I happen to be remodeling a structure next to the one with the hot water issue. I had the plumber from that job site come over and take a look first since we had really stinky water. He tried to do a maintenance flush of the system to clean it out and discovered that there was thick sludge in the bottom of the tank so deep the clean out was clogged (a sure sign the corrosion was more than an anode rod). When Maclin Plumbing arrived, he said if the tank is not leaking, there is nothing wrong with it that could not be solved with maintenance He then asked me to show him the corroded anode rod (it's in the tank). He thought I was some ignorant woman who doesn't know about plumbing and was going to prove it to me. I called him after he left and he was even more insulting on the phone. That kind of arrogance and impoliteness deserves an F.
