I came in to have skin tags removed. I did not catch the name of the Dr. that I saw or the attending nurse.\r

I was very disappointed in the care I received and felt they were very unprofessional. First of all, the Dr. I saw did not make it clear to me that they would not be able to remove all the skin tags. He left the room telling me he would get a nurse to remove them. I assumed this meant they would be able to freeze them off. A woman came in the room in street clothes. I did not see a badge although she may have had one under her fleece jacket or maybe I just missed it. It really put me off, not knowing who she even was. She should at least wear scrubs. I guess I was supposed to take her word for it that she even was a nurse. I also was not made aware by the Dr. that they would be cutting them off the skin tags with a knife. Most of them were very flat and could not be cut. The nurse got out the knife and I asked her how they were going to cut them off when the tags under my breasts since were almost flat to the surface. She looked bewildered and wasn’t sure how to do this either. She called the Dr. back in to ask him and he just said cut off what you can. How professional! This was not what I came in for. I wanted all of them frozen off. He said if they start irritating you, just make an apt again and we can freeze them. The reason I came in was because they were irritating me since I had a bad rash that I showed him when he examined me. He seemed to want to rush me out and didn’t really care if I was informed etc….\r

Lastly, I was very disappointed in the way the nurse cut the tags off. She told me to feel around for them. She did not assist me in finding them at all. She just stood there and watched me. No help whatsoever. I was not offered a mirror and she didn’t seem to care in the least. She seemed like she just wanted to be done with it. As a result I still have several left on my neck that I missed. The ones under my breasts are still raw and irritated. \r

I will be looking for another office to do the freezing since I got minimal, apathetic care at this office. \r
