My original intention was to sit down with one of their lawyers, ask as many questions as I could for free, then utilize that knowledge to file on my own at a greatly reduced cost. One meeting with Ryan (Hackett) and I knew NOT being represented by H&H would be a big mistake. I hired 'em on the spot.
The next few months was a blur of paperwork, meetings, cash exchanges and collection's letters, but Ryan and Paula (the legal secretary) walked me carefully through each step and gave me solid advice through every part of it. (And it didn't take me long to realize there was no chance in $@!#% I could have done this on my own.)
Minor complications aside, this whole experience was as positive as one could expect their first bankruptcy to be. Now I just hope I never have to see them again. :::crosses fingers::::
