Good service. I went to Dr. Eckman's office for the first time this morning (7/2/13). I was a little reluctant due to some negative reviews I found, but on the other hand, he was the only dermatologist who had a waiting time for new patients of less than 4-7 months. I'm glad I chose to go to his office. I had no problems with the receptionists or the physician's assistants.\r

I did have to wait half an hour or so before being called back, though unfortunately that is par for the course with doctors. It was probably another 20 minutes or so till I saw Dr. Eckman. A medical assistant had already seen me, and a PA-in-training was with me at the moment. Dr. Eckman looked at the couple of bumps on my head that needed removal (a cyst under the hair and a wart-like growth on an eyelid). He asked if I wanted them removed during that office visit, and I said I did. He told me that one would be covered under the fee for the office visit, and that the other was considered elective, and that it would cost a certain amount. I had to wait another 15 minutes or so before one PA removed the cyst (a very simple operation), and then I was immediately taken to another room where another PA removed the bump on my eyelid. Both of the removal operations went smoothly and quickly. The cost was exactly what Dr. Eckman had said. Unlike someone wrote earlier here, the price was not increased at the time I paid.\r

Conclusion: Dr. Eckman is a fine doctor and he has a good staff. I have no hesitation about recommending him to anyone who needs the services of a dermatologist.
