Lido di Manhattan compares very favorably to the best restaurants in any city I've visited - great food, friendly service, good atmosphere, etc. I had a dinner with few friends couple of days ago, and it was really a great evening. Food was excellent. Lobster Wonton Tacos - delicious! Black Pepper Crusted Seared Ahi with Wasabi Beurre Blanc, Mashed Potato, and Green Beans - simply fabulous. We had a fantastic bottle of Cakebread chardonnay '09 at very reasonable price. Wine selection was surprisingly good. \r
Finished the evening with my favorite dessert, Walnut Tart which was awesome. I would definitely recommend Lido to anyone who likes good food and wine. I can't wait to go back.
