This was my first time eating here, and it was fantastic! I came in for a business lunch and was promptly greeted by our server who got our drinks out lightning fast! We started with the black bean dip and tuna tartare. Both were delicious. The pickled cucumber with the tuna was SO good and I basically inhaled the black bean dip. For my entree I had a salad (I can't remember the specific name). I asked for several substitutions and our server made them all easily and didn't make me feel like I was annoying her (like some servers do when you ask to mod too many things). Everything came out quickly and correctly. At the end of the meal, Lisa, the owner actually came over and briefly sat down with us to see how everything went. So cool and personable! I will absolutely be back to Lido. I'm definitely going to check out their Thursday night wine tastings as well.\r more

Lido has all of the ingredients for everything I love about dining out. It is a great experience from the knowledgeable and friendly staff, to the amazingly fresh and tasty cuisine and let's not forget about the extensive and unique wine list. My favorite night is Thursday where my friends and I meet to enjoy their weekly wine tastings followed by dinner. I always meet great quality people, their clientele is professional, good looking, friendly & fun!\r more

Lido di Manhattan compares very favorably to the best restaurants in any city I've visited - great food, friendly service, good atmosphere, etc. I had a dinner with few friends couple of days ago, and it was really a great evening. Food was excellent. Lobster Wonton Tacos - delicious! Black Pepper Crusted Seared Ahi with Wasabi Beurre Blanc, Mashed Potato, and Green Beans - simply fabulous. We had a fantastic bottle of Cakebread chardonnay '09 at very reasonable price. Wine selection was surprisingly good. \r Finished the evening with my favorite dessert, Walnut Tart which was awesome. I would definitely recommend Lido to anyone who likes good food and wine. I can't wait to go back. more

Amazing Homemade Pasta. Lido is somehow able to maintain an upscale yet casual atmosphere that is both inviting and comforting. I've been there a couple of times, and each time I was greeted by a friendly staff, and ate amazing food. I especially enjoyed the homemade pasta, but everything I had was delicious. more

The service was awesome, We will be BACK soon and appreciate your passion for great service!!! My family is Italian and my dad was the 1st star caterers and he owned 3 restaurants. I have grown up hosting events, weddings and in the food biz so i know good service. He will be visiting so we will bring him in for sure.
