Eastside Tree Works did a great job for me last summer (see my review 7/26/12) when they took out two Poplar trees. I therefore contracted them to take out another 90ft Poplar in my back yard this Spring. The crew they sent appeared to be in training, with one person giving a lot of instruction as the project proceeded. When they topped the tree it got away from them with four branches going through my roof that resulted in four separate holes in the roof. Part of the top also hit the deck which broke completely through two Trex floor boards. Later another trunk they were dropping got away from them that took out a sprinkler head and cement step. I now have a patched roof and a deck that will always look patched (Trex has changed their styles and we can't duplicate the smashed floor boards).
I don't understand why they would send out an inexperienced crew to tackle an obviously very difficult and dangerous tree. They have lost my trust. I will not be doing any more business with them.
