I have lived at NCC for several months and I will have to say, when I first moved here I was a very excited! This place has everything you could possibly ask for and it is only one bill! Not only do you have a gym onsite (yes, I know the ceiling collapsed the previous summer but thats all fixed now and no one was hurt!) but theres also 5 full service tanning beds, two pools one which is heated (the only heated pool in Greenvile), 2 hot tubs, a 24 hour comptuer lab, a theatre room and a conference room for those of you who need to hold meetings every once in awhile.\r \r They also are a gated community after 10pm to ensure our residents safety! All the apartments come fully furnished with comfortable couches and chairs, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, oven and refrigrator! Utilities are included and also cable and interent.\r \r \r I read the previous reviews on here and before hand yes the management was slacking but now they have a new management staff who is all about oraganization, change, and having fun! I noticed someone said they was lame parties, yea maybe with the old management but lets talk about the HUGE party Wellington Advisors threw in October! The organized a huge pig pickin' the day before the NC State Game.\r \r At this Pig Pickin' they had a live band Trainwreck, a dunking booth and a Bon Fire where we roasted NC States mascot! During all this fun they also had several booths set up for good samaritan stations where residents and friends could Adopt-a- solider, register to vote, and become an organ donor! This new management is very attentive and defintely has raised the bar.\r \r \r Also If you really think about it for everything you are receiveing it calculates out to about the same if not less than dorm life! After including housing and meal plans...\r \r its about the same.So heres my question to you...\r \r Stay in a dorm, where I have heard nothing but bad things about as far as cleanliness or stay at NCC with resot style living for the same price'!\r One of the complaints I read was its out in the middle of nowhere...not necessarily. It may be a little farther from campus then the others but they do offer the ECU bus that runs through every 10 minutes starting from 730am until 630pm! So right there your not only saving gas money, but your also do not have to pay for a parking permit for ECU, which I hear are expensive! Your not that far away from the ""fun"" but you far enough to not get distracted and be able to concentrate on your studies!\r All in all NCC is a great place to live. more
