I was with Startex for 3 years when I was in the army. During those 3 years, I never had a problem with them. My bill was always the same, add or minus $10. When I left, I was in a hurry, so I forgot to contact the company to tell them I no longer needed their services. 2 months later, I get a bill for $150. I contacted them and told them I already lived out of state but that I will be paying the balance. They emailed me back the following day and said it was all good, just email them a copy of my orders or current electric bill and I won't have to pay it. So I did and that was that.\r

The main reason I give them 5 stars is because I'm also comparing them to Puget Sound Electric (WA State) and TXU Energy. Both I've had problems with, problems that took to long to address.
