I spent over 20 years in the Hotel Industry and found the following to be so true.\r
\r
Hospitality does not start with the age or condition of the property. It starts with the people, and these folks are the most accommodating I have seen in the industry for quite some time.\r

The property is an older style rustic lodge, however it is very clean, the linens and towels are of great quality. We had the 1 bedroom with kitchen, and it was very comfortable. The views are great with a Bald Eagle hanging out in a tree off our balcony all week. The snowfall was an added bonus and made our week of snowmobiling great. This is the best place to stay for the lake views. So much snow that it was not worth going out for 2 days, and the room was a great place to hang out. The lobby area was warm with a fire going, spa and steam room ready for use. Pool closed for the winter and this was understandable.\r

Requests were honored with a smile and handled immediately. Call to our room during our stay to see if we needed anything. All staff were friendly and outgoing. Made you feel welcome and that they were very happy to have you as a guest. We had no problem with this property.\r

If you are looking for the Ritz stay in Mammoth, if you are looking for a great experience with a great staff and owner/Jessalyn. Make your plans to stay here\r

It is a home away from home.
