We have used an animal hospital over the years to house our Shih tzu. They did an okay job, but he is in a small cage on a shelf. We tried another pet boarding spot out south off of Horizon Ridge, but the administrative people seemed very forceful in trying to sell upgrades. It was such a ""big deal"" to them that the dogs had a flat-screen TV in their habitat. Well, when you walk through the facility, very few TV's are on. Plus, they are so high up, a dog would get one huge stiff neck trying to watch the TV. It was very expensive, over $35 a day. \r \r I called a couple of other boarding spots. Again, the pricing was high and I was talking with people giving me a sales pitch. \r \r I called Paws N Claws. No b.s., no sales pitch. I went over there the next day. It is not a brand new building, but it more than adequate. We liked the size of the living quarters, especially the fact the cages were next to each other for interaction with other dogs and that they could go outside and see other dogs on the other side of their cages. \r \r We liked the fact that the owners were the people we dealt with and they seemed to truly care about our and other peoples' pets. We left our pet for 8 days. When we called back to check up on him, they were honest and forthcoming about his behavior and eating habits. \r \r Sometimes, you really feel comfortable about some people. That is how we feel about Paws 'N Claws. We will be back. \r Jim Kruger more
