IDr. Clara Scott has taken care of several of my dogs for many years now. We recently adopted a little Peke who stopped eating and drinking who got very sick one late nite so we rushed her to an emergency hospital who took xrays and gave us prescriptions for her and said she had a viral infection. She appeared better for a few days but by late Friday nite she was really bad again, so we again took her to a different hospital at midnight, they said she had a bacterial infection and was oozing pink slime from her vagina. We left with more prescriptions but by Monday morning she got worse. We took her in the morning to see Dr. Scott, she ran blood tests and immediately determined she needed an emergency hysterectomy. Her white cell count was extremely low and her body temp was very low. She said if she operated immediately she would die. She put her on an IV drip thru the nite and wrapped her in a heating pad to elevate her temp, by morning she felt it was ok to operate. What she found were fallopian tubes the size of polish sausages, which should have been very tiny for her size. Now why didn't the first hospital see that in their xrays?? Two different hospitals did not see her problem. She almost died but Clara knew what the problem was immediately and addressed it.\r
I love Dr. Scott, once when we had to put to sleep one of our dogs, Clara said a prayer during the process. On another occasion we had to have another dog put to sleep but on the way to her office our dog pooed on the back seat of our car. Clara sent our a technician to clean up our car. This woman is amazing. I don't know about the other Doctors in her clinic, but Clara is the best ever.
