I used the Costco car buying program and was pleasantly surprised that I was not swamped by emails and phone calls once the dealer had my contact info during the few days I needed together the time to buy the car.
Once there, my sales guy, Robert, was very helpful and skilled enough to figure out my objectives and give helpful suggestions. The inevitable upsell was there, but was gracious and not unpleasantly aggressive. Robert even went way out of his way to help me drop off my borrowed car so I could drive my new purchase home.
